I recently had the pleasure of joining Mathew Blades and Steve Petz on their inspiring “Move The Needle” podcast, where we dove deep into how Sirrine Yoga is transforming workplace wellness one mindful breath at a time.

Bringing Mindfulness & Yoga to the Workplace
After 24 years running a successful massage practice, I noticed a pattern: many of my clients were suffering from stress-related ailments that no amount of massage alone could fix. This realization led me to create Sirrine Yoga’s Corporate Wellness Programs, designed to address the root causes of workplace stress.
What makes this approach special is that it allows me to reach individuals who may have never experienced yoga or mindfulness practices, felt comfortable in a traditional studio, or had the means to attend regular classes. By bringing these practices directly into the workplace – virtually or in person – we’re making wellness accessible to everyone, regardless of experience level or previous exposure.
During our 32-minute conversation, we explored how dedicating just 60 minutes weekly or bi-weekly – whether through virtual or in-person sessions – can revolutionize an entire workplace culture.
Sirrine Yoga’s statistics speak for themselves:
- 57-75% reduction in stress and anxiety
- 45% increase in energy levels
- 45% improvement in focus and productivity
- 42-74% improvement in creativity and inspiration
- 45-57% stronger team camaraderie
- 85-100% of participants confirming yoga’s positive impact
Beyond the Office Walls
What truly excites me about this work isn’t just the workplace improvements—it’s how these practices ripple outward into participants’ personal lives. During the podcast, I shared stories of real transformation:
- A family implementing “no screens at the dinner table,” leading to deeper conversations
- A young couple creating quality phone-free time after putting their newborn to bed
- An executive who no longer needs pain injections for chronic back issues
- Team members establishing healthy boundaries and self-care routines that benefit their entire families
These aren’t just workplace wellness programs—they’re life-changing practices that happen to start at work.
A Shared Platform with Inspiring Changemakers
The episode also features an incredible interview with Chef Ron Young, founder of Foodvision, whose journey from corporate jobs at Nike and Victoria’s Secret to cooking for professional athletes like Kyler Murray and Odell Beckham Jr. is nothing short of inspiring. His story begins at the 32-minute mark and is absolutely worth your time.
